For now, I am only going to address the clothing. This covers 52 days (about 2 months) in New Zealand as it moves from Spring to Summer. The weather for the first 10 days is supposed to be rainy and hover around 62 degrees Fahrenheit. It should warm up near the end of the trip, so I'm designing this to be versatile with many layers. I am also expecting to be spending quite a bit of time outdoors, hopefully doing multi-day treks. Much of the gear that I am bringing is gear that I have gathered over the years and is gear that I have taken on to long back country trips. I trust it.
